University Academy of Florida (UAF) is a private daycare-12th Islamic School located in Tampa, Florida. With more than 830 students enrolled, UAF is ranked among the top 15 Islamic private schools in the country. UAF has been serving the education sector for over 3 decades and employs more than 100 qualified teachers and staff.

Challenge

The admin at UAF were following manual purchase processes via emails and spreadsheets. The manual purchase process was both time consuming and marred with errors and delays. Moreover, the lack of transparency in the manual purchasing process made it difficult to identify bottlenecks and cause of delays. Tracking the status of purchase orders manually was also a challenge for the admin team at UAF. As a result, the processing and approval of purchase orders was delayed. They were looking for a solution that accelerated PO processing and provided deeper visibility into the status of POs.

Solution

Cflow implemented a workflow automation solution for the entire PO processing workflow. The deeper visibility and transparency that Cflow brought into the purchasing process helped the UAF admin process purchase orders quickly and efficiently. The time for approval of POs was cut down drastically by automating the workflow. The email notification feature in Cflow accelerated the PO approval process. They were also able to spot bottlenecks and redundancies and resolve them quickly once Cflow was implemented.
